Mortham Tower

Mortham Tower

Mortham Tower is a fortified Manor House. The Hall, solar, north-west wing and perhaps south-east range are believed to date from the 14th century, with the Tower being added later in the 15th century. It is not open to the public.

It is reputedly haunted by a headless lady, believed to be the wife of one of the medieval Rokeby family who owned Mortham Tower.
